FALL RIVER -- A southbound traffic shift on Davol Street begins today as part of the ongoing Route 79-Davol Street Corridor Improvements project, according to the city's official notices.

TOWN HALL

The city announced that the Route 79-Davol Street Corridor Improvements project has reached a new phase, with Davol Street northbound between Turner Street and President Avenue reopening and a southbound traffic shift beginning July 28, per the city's posted project advisory. Drivers in the area should expect altered traffic patterns as crews continue work on the corridor, which has been an ongoing multi-phase project affecting downtown-adjacent roadways.

The city also continues to promote its no-cost Mass Save energy assessments for residents through MassSave.com/FallRiver, part of an ongoing effort to help homeowners manage energy costs.
